You need to deposit a small amount and some ID, and you can take the bike free for the day.
Bike around the lake is a really fun thing to do. In the heart of the Zurich, you can visit Urania Sternwarte to observe multiple planets and reach stars plus scenic city views through a large telescope.
The observatory offers a guided tour and is, no doubt, a memorable experience.
